Denim Silk is a timeless, innovative, and lightweight fabric that offers an authentic and unique touch. It is the result of a rare collaboration between the selvedge denim experts of the Bingo Region in Japan and Loro Piana’s innovative artisans in Piedmont, Italy.

Meticulous care, incredible craftsmanship

Under the guiding hands of expert artisans, it is woven on vintage looms which, today, are hardly used in the textile industry any more. What emerges is a light raw denim fabric, ideal for spring and summer.

A fusion of cotton and silk

Denim Silk is an exceptional blend of indigo-dyed cotton and grey silk. To achieve this delicate mix of yarns, the fabric is woven very slowly, with a few metres taking up to a day to produce. The silk is woven into the weft and combined with indigo cotton in the warp, creating a sophisticated fabric with a contemporary look.
